Well, mine actually thinks he can break my spirit or hurt my feelings or some such. I don’t entirely know what gives him that impression, though. He basically just asks ridiculous questions, trolls me, rags on me for writing LGBT literature, and resorts to name calling. It’s pathetic. I hope I’m never sad and lonely enough to have to harass people online to feel better about myself. Jealousy is ugly, and that’s exactly what most anon’s have in common. xxxx
Things are getting very exciting! Final edits are being made on the book now, and I expect to send it off for publication by the end of the month (barring anything unexpected). Kickstarter surveys will be going out soon to gather information for reward fulfillment, and I expect to have physical copies in hand no later than mid-July… hopefully earlier! I’ll keep you apprised of the situation through Kickstarter updates (visible to everyone, not just backers), as well as here on Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook (see below)!
‘A Fairy Tale: One Day My Prince Will Come’ now has a fan page on Facebook!
If you haven’t checked out the website yet, you don’t want to miss it! And, check back often, as more information and fun stuff will be added in the next few weeks!
just think
it could be worse
it could always be worse
you could have been the author of 50 shades of grey
Okay, this is sort of a major (not long, but important) update! :)
The book’s website is now up and running. There are still a few “Coming Soon” pages, but you can find quite a bit of content there already. I’m particularly excited about the “Characters” page, which gives you a first peek at Jenny Sherman’s amazing and original character art. There’s more coming with the characters too, but I can’t show my entire hand just yet! ;)
I think this child’s opinion is the one that trumps all else
This is beautiful.
Sometimes… Just sometimes… You know you’re writing something with a purpose, but you haven’t quite put your finger on it yet. You still have to learn the lesson your characters need to learn. Never scrap a scene or chapter that feels like fluff until you KNOW it needs to go. More than once, my characters have gone through something without me being totally privy to why they needed to go through it. However, it always came to me. I always figured it out, and it’s usually at the same time as they do. Some scenes are unnecessary, but that’s to be worked out in the end. Write it until you know. Sometimes our characters are smarter than us, know more than us, and that’s okay. Just because they’re usually catching up to our plan doesn’t mean that we can’t catch up to them every once and a while for something different. Let them lead you. Develop your stories organically. Let yourself get lost from time to time. You’ll find your way back out eventually, and your story might just be better for it.
Hello, and thank you for joining me! :)
For all who follow me: I hope to have lots of updates in the coming weeks. My web designer is back from vacation, which means my website should be up and running in some real capacity soon. I’m finishing up chapter 21, and then I’ll be on the downhill run to publishing. My formatting is actually done… Huge load off my shoulders there. I’ll keep you updated though. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me!

I totally hope you get to meet John one day. He’s worth the wait.
Yes, US version was way hotter. The UK one was good, but just so short and kind of tame in comparison. I’ll check out Once Upon a Time. Thanks for the rec.
Your words are more than sufficient. I’m glad you like my concept. Thank you! :) You’re awesome!

OMG @ Jack Harkness! I totally know! I actually met John! He’s amazing and lovely and charming and beautiful. I could go on and on! :D
I almost forgot QAF, just because it’s been so long. I <3 it though. I watched US and UK versions, but the UK version wasn’t as good as the US one (for once). I haven’t watched Once Upon a Time. Is it worth checking out?
My novel that’s about to be published is sort of a spoof of the traditional fairy tale. Instead of a princess being locked in a tower for some inane reason, a young prince is locked in a tower after he tells his parents that he’s gay. They tell the whole kingdom that he died, but his best friend doesn’t believe it and sets out to look for him. It’s set in modern day, but it has a very “medieval feel” to it. There are unicorns and dragons and swords, but there are also smart phones and high speed internet and whatnot. It’s sort of a comedy, but it tackles a lot of really serious themes in a very respectful way. I guess there’s a bit of a social commentary in there too about how backward it is to live in a modern society that doesn’t recognize and uphold basic human rights based on something as trivial as sexuality. Sorry, that’s not a very good summary. I haven’t written the official blurb for the back of the book yet. You can read a bit more about here, if you like. My Kickstarter project for it was fully funded on Mar 31, but all the info is still there.

I always want to talk. What do you want to talk about?
i really don’t know??let me see….what u like??(music,movies,series…how you joined some fandom???)…(i’m great to start a talk…
i know)
I like lots of things. LOL
Uhm… My musical tastes are strange. I don’t like much of the current stuff. I preferred the music of decades long since gone.
I love movies… I’m not a big fan of chick flicks or horror, but everything else is great. The last few things I watched were: Snow White and the Huntsman, The Avengers, Dark Shadows, Mirror Mirror, The Hunger Games, Frankenstein (if you call that a movie… it was really so much more). The only one of them I didn’t like was Snow White and the Huntsman.
Series I watch: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural (only through season 5 so far), Torchwood, Glee, True Blood, Dexter, Weeds, Shameless (US version), Being Human (UK version)… I feel like that’s a lot, and I think I’m forgetting some.
Also, I’m a writer… My first novel is about to be published.
I’m happy to talk about any of that… or anything else. Your turn to tell me about yourself! :)
Due to some rather extreme events, I wanted to bring to attention some things that are very important and otherwise always happening regardless of how much we don’t want to think about them.
I want to make sure that my followers know that no matter what, I’m always there for you, no matter how I feel or what you’re going through. I’ll always be here to talk.
I want you to know that what you’re going through is only temporary and that it will get better. And I want you to know that I accept you, no matter who you are.
Regardless, I’d like to offer some hotlines that are always available to you.

I think my art is done! I’ve given final approval and received the invoice. I think that means it’s done. And, let me say that I love it! I can’t wait to share it, but there’s still some time before I can. I hope to have a few teaser type things up in the next couple of weeks though. Just bear with me. We’re getting to the exciting stuff, I promise!
It’s been said he won’t be The Doctor. This is what I’m referring to:

I’ll take a big Hollywood thing though. I’ll take anything that puts him in my line of vision! <3
